Feature Ideas
Submit IdeaPlease Bring Back Auto Transcribe
For the HiNotes Version 3.0, please bring back the "Auto Transcribe". This was a very useful feature in HiNotes Version 1.0. I liked that when the audio clip is uploaded via the HiDock or an uploaded audio file, that it would automatically transcribe. I would prefer to look at the transcript rather than listen to audio or date/time to figure out which template I should select. Please have this as an optional feature that can be toggled on and off.

Combine multiple recordings for 1 summary
While in a call if by mistake you interrupt recording and then start again to record, it will be helpful to have a feature to directly be able to combine multiple recordings and compile for 1 summary.

API connection for LLMs
I already pay subscriptions for OpenAI, Claude & Gemini. Allow me to leverage those for my transcription vs having to buy credits from you.

Saved Speaker Name Library with Voice Matching
Create a saved library of speaker names for quick selection. Ideally, this feature would work with voice recognition so Hinote can automatically match and assign the correct name from the library based on the speakerβs voice.

ASk AI as a must have
Guys, I love this product and would like to purchase it. The only thing that concerns me is the lack of the ask-ai feature, which allows us to speed up our workflow by avoiding having to listen every time we have a question, when we could simply ask and get an answer. To be honest, that's why I continue to use Otter.ai, even though it doesn't have the ability to record audio using AirPods. Please consider adding this feature and you will gain more and more customers. Thanks

Add 2FA
Add 2FA to login, please. I really donβt feel safe about keeping my transcripts online without 2FA, and thereβs no option to have them offline in an offline app.

Make HiNotes available as a Claude Connector
Make HiNotes available as a Claude Connector to enable greater use of notes, such as adding to Claude Cowork workflows for daily summaries, or program progress updates across multiple meetings.

Transcript Issue in HiNotes v3.0
I noticed yesterday that my transcripts are no longer allowing me to view them once they import into HiNotes V3.0 unless I generate a summary first. This creates more work and is costing more AI API calls since I have to re-summarize after being able to label each speaker.

Feature Request for hinotes 3.0: Reintroducing "Transcribe First, Summarize Later"
Dear HinDock Team, As I continue to test hinotes 3.0, I want to share another crucial feature suggestion. I noticed that the option to "transcribe first, then generate AI summary" available in version 2.3.1 has been removed in this new update. This feature is highly essential for our actual workflow. During lengthy meetings that last 1 to 2 hours, various departments naturally express different opinions. However, the final direction and key takeaways are almost always based on the conclusions drawn by our boss or key decision makers. In the previous version, I could review the raw transcript first and manually tag the speakers for these important statements. This step allowed me to perfectly use custom note templates to highlight and synthesize the most critical decisions. Without the ability to manually identify speakers before the AI summarizes the content, it becomes very difficult to capture the true authoritative outcome of a complex meeting. I highly recommend bringing this process back. Allowing users to tag speakers on the transcript before triggering the AI summary will greatly enhance the accuracy and practical value of the final notes. Thank you again for your time and dedication to making hinotes better. Best regards, Tank Chen

Vocabulary stopped working correctly after V3
I have words in my vocabulary list which were imported from V2 that are not being recognised in the summaries in V3. I've tried to re do the summaries but they are not being detected.

Speaker identification
I have the same people in meetings after but I have to name them each time. Otter ai has auto-speaker detection which is great. Would love to see this added.

Mobile phone app
A genuine app, not a chrome attempt, you share how much better your hardware is vs Plaud hardware but your software is miles behind them

Auto Upload to 3rd Party Service
It would be great to have the ability auto upload transcripts or meeting summaries to a 3rd party service like OneNote, google drive, Notion, Confluence, or other note taking apps that we likely use for our meetings or keeping track of things. I personally would like OneNote but I am looking at Notion as getting approval to integrate with OneNote for work might be hard.

Auto Summarization - why can we only do 1 at a time?
It is really labor intensive to have to click on each recording one at a time to have them summarized. In an ideal world, I would open the device to find everything already summarized and named. But until that is available, I wish I could "Select All" and then click "Summarize". Currently I have to select one at a time. They often stall out and stop updating so I have to refresh my browser, open the device, wait for the recordings to show up, and then click each one again. This has become more work when it was supposed to eliminate some of it for me.

Allow Transcript editing (and Speaker Naming) before Summary Generation!
This was really helpful in 2.0 and now I am having to resummarize due to edits I make in the transcript not being incorporated in the first pass. It wastes extra time
