Submit IdeaAPI connection for LLMs
I already pay subscriptions for OpenAI, Claude & Gemini. Allow me to leverage those for my transcription vs having to buy credits from you.

Make HiNotes available as a Claude Connector
Make HiNotes available as a Claude Connector to enable greater use of notes, such as adding to Claude Cowork workflows for daily summaries, or program progress updates across multiple meetings.

An option for Hidock to automatically trim silences
Wondershare Filmora has a tool (WHICH IS NOT WITH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE) that is responsible for detecting silence in the audios, in the application it allows you to define a volume threshold percentage, minimum duration seconds between segments and buffer, making the recordings smaller in size and above all when playing them not having these annoying empty spaces, in addition this could help improve the computational efficiency of the transcription and accelerate its processing speed I would love for Hidock to have an option on the website to enable the option to automatically remove empty silences from recordings!

Ai Chatbot - Ask questions across all recordings in a messenger to interact with all your recordings.
Searching an interacting with all the meeting recordings in a human-like fashion through an AI chatbot. Plaud and Otter AI have this functionality, and is hugely beneficial.

Connect our own AIs so we can ask in context
All our context doesnโt always come from meetings. Sometimes we need information from external sources, from ideas weโve developed across multiple inputs. We also use our AIs as a second brain, ping-ponging ideas and refining concepts iteratively. To have the full picture, we need to centralize that context instead of fragmenting it across tools. Thatโs why Iโm proposing either enabling integration between our AIs here, or establishing a direct and secure data flow between systems. This would allow us to maintain continuity, preserve institutional knowledge, and improve decision-making without duplicating effort or losing context

Improved Integration Security
I posted this earlier, but do not see it, so posting again. Please consider changing the permissions for the OneNote integration. Currently, it wants read/write access to all OneNote notebooks, which is unnecessary. It only needs write access to the one notebook where you want to sync your HiNotes. My IT Department will not approve the integration because of this. Similarly, please consider enabling safeguard when using ChatGPT to summarize your notes. For business users, keeping the notes out of the public LLM is a requirement. Again, my IT Department is limiting our use of HiDock because of this, which is a shame, because everyone in our company could use one. Thanks.

Feature Request: Add a 3.5 mm (or USB-C) Headphone Port to the HiDock P1
First of all, I really like the concept of the HiDock P1. Itโs a unique product that solves a real problem, especially for people who frequently record calls and meetings. However, I would like to suggest one hardware improvement that would make the device much more versatile: Please consider adding a wired headphone output in a future versionโeither: a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack, orUSB-C audio output supporting USB-C headsets. Why? Bluetooth audio is convenient, but it doesnโt always provide the best audio quality or the lowest latency. Many professionals still prefer wired headphones for: Better and more consistent audio qualityZero Bluetooth interference or connection issuesLower latency during long meetingsCompatibility with professional wired headsetsNo need to worry about charging Bluetooth headphones A wired output would also make the HiDock P1 attractive for users who already own high-quality wired headsets or who work in professional environments where reliability is more important than wireless convenience. I believe this small hardware addition would significantly expand the target audience without changing the core concept of the device. I would definitely buy a future version with this feature. Thanks for creating such an innovative product!

Live Translation froze after approximately 30 minutes, and the entire recording was not saved
I experienced a serious data-loss issue while using the Live Translation feature in HiNotes. The recording session continued to display normally and reached approximately 57 minutes out of the 60-minute limit. However, the real-time translation stopped updating at approximately 29 minutes. After I pressed the โEndโ button, I discovered that the recorded audio had not been saved. The translated transcript was also unavailable after the session ended. The attached screenshot shows: Recording timer: 57:15 / 60:00Last translated section: approximately 29:07The recording screen still appeared to be active after the translation had stopped This is a serious issue because the interface indicated that recording was continuing, and there was no warning that the audio data was no longer being saved. Please investigate: Why the live translation stopped after approximately 30 minutes. Why the recording timer continued even though the data was not saved.Whether the audio or temporary transcript can be recovered from server logs.Whether raw audio can be saved independently from the translation process.Whether a warning can be displayed when recording, translation, uploading, or server communication stops.Whether recordings can be saved periodically to prevent complete data loss. This resulted in the loss of an important business meeting. Please treat this as a formal bug report and share it with the product and development teams.

Speaker identification
I have the same people in meetings after but I have to name them each time. Otter ai has auto-speaker detection which is great. Would love to see this added.

Rename recordings before summarizing
In the โRecordingsโ tab, all files currently have default names like โ20250604-161356-Rec87.hda,โ which makes it hard to identify them quickly. It would be very helpful to allow users to rename a recording manually before summarizing it, directly from the interface. This small improvement would make it easier to organize and locate specific meetings, especially for users handling multiple recordings per day.

Saved Speaker Name Library with Voice Matching
Create a saved library of speaker names for quick selection. Ideally, this feature would work with voice recognition so Hinote can automatically match and assign the correct name from the library based on the speakerโs voice.

A genuine app, not a chrome attempt, you share how much better your hardware is vs Plaud hardware but your software is miles behind them

Mind map summary format (visual overview)
It would be great to offer an optional mind map-style summary, similar to what PLAUD AI provides. This format gives a clear and visual structure to the conversationโbreaking down key topics, subtopics, and connections between ideas. For users dealing with complex calls or meetings, a mind map can improve understanding, memory retention, and even presentation to colleagues or clients.

ASk AI as a must have
Guys, I love this product and would like to purchase it. The only thing that concerns me is the lack of the ask-ai feature, which allows us to speed up our workflow by avoiding having to listen every time we have a question, when we could simply ask and get an answer. To be honest, that's why I continue to use Otter.ai, even though it doesn't have the ability to record audio using AirPods. Please consider adding this feature and you will gain more and more customers. Thanks
