  1. Speaker identification

I have the same people in meetings after but I have to name them each time. Otter ai has auto-speaker detection which is great. Would love to see this added.

  2. Make HiNotes available as a Claude Connector

Make HiNotes available as a Claude Connector to enable greater use of notes, such as adding to Claude Cowork workflows for daily summaries, or program progress updates across multiple meetings.

  3. Please Bring Back Auto Transcribe

For the HiNotes Version 3.0, please bring back the "Auto Transcribe". This was a very useful feature in HiNotes Version 1.0. I liked that when the audio clip is uploaded via the HiDock or an uploaded audio file, that it would automatically transcribe. I would prefer to look at the transcript rather than listen to audio or date/time to figure out which template I should select. Please have this as an optional feature that can be toggled on and off.

  4. Saved Speaker Name Library with Voice Matching

Create a saved library of speaker names for quick selection. Ideally, this feature would work with voice recognition so Hinote can automatically match and assign the correct name from the library based on the speaker’s voice.

  5. An option for Hidock to automatically trim silences

Wondershare Filmora has a tool (WHICH IS NOT WITH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE) that is responsible for detecting silence in the audios, in the application it allows you to define a volume threshold percentage, minimum duration seconds between segments and buffer, making the recordings smaller in size and above all when playing them not having these annoying empty spaces, in addition this could help improve the computational efficiency of the transcription and accelerate its processing speed I would love for Hidock to have an option on the website to enable the option to automatically remove empty silences from recordings!

  6. ASk AI as a must have

Guys, I love this product and would like to purchase it. The only thing that concerns me is the lack of the ask-ai feature, which allows us to speed up our workflow by avoiding having to listen every time we have a question, when we could simply ask and get an answer. To be honest, that's why I continue to use Otter.ai, even though it doesn't have the ability to record audio using AirPods. Please consider adding this feature and you will gain more and more customers. Thanks

  7. Dedicated AI voice memo devices are already losing to your smartphone's built-in features

I've been using HiDock β€” a device that handles recording, AI transcription, and summarization β€” and while the concept is solid, the experience has some real friction points that are hard to ignore. The biggest issue? No real-time transcription. Every time you want to process your audio, you have to physically connect the hardware to your PC and transfer data. Sure, you can automate parts of it, but that USB-in-first workflow is still the entry point, and that alone kills the spontaneity of quick voice notes. Meanwhile, Apple's transcription has quietly become really good. It used to have limits even in the Notes app, but now it handles audio of any length with solid accuracy. I've set up a Shortcut that lets me speak, instantly get a transcript, and fire it straight at an AI β€” all from my phone, no extra hardware needed. The advantages of this approach: Works anywhere, anytime β€” just your phone and a third-party AI appNo extra device or subscription needed for the hardware sideTruly seamless β€” speak β†’ transcribe β†’ analyze in one flow Honestly, at this point I think dedicated voice-to-AI devices are in a tough spot. Smartphones have closed the gap faster than expected. Unless products like HiDock can offer something dramatically better β€” superior audio quality, offline processing, deep workflow integrations β€” it's hard to justify the extra hardware. Curious if others have had similar experiences, or if there's a use case for dedicated devices that I'm missing.

  8. API connection for LLMs

I already pay subscriptions for OpenAI, Claude & Gemini. Allow me to leverage those for my transcription vs having to buy credits from you.

  9. Rename recordings before summarizing

In the β€œRecordings” tab, all files currently have default names like β€œ20250604-161356-Rec87.hda,” which makes it hard to identify them quickly. It would be very helpful to allow users to rename a recording manually before summarizing it, directly from the interface. This small improvement would make it easier to organize and locate specific meetings, especially for users handling multiple recordings per day.

  10. Mobile phone app

A genuine app, not a chrome attempt, you share how much better your hardware is vs Plaud hardware but your software is miles behind them

  11. Integrate with Google Drive

I want to integrate this with Google Drive so that I can use my GPT sub to manage my workflows, tasks, and due outs across multiple projects. This would be beneficial to anyone in a management position who spends most of their time in meetings to give taskings to their teams.

  12. Merge several notes into one

If the call is cut, disconnected, you end up with several (2+) parts of the same meeting. I would like to be able to select several separate parts of the same meeting and merge them together into a single audio note to be transcribed and summarized.

  13. Add 2FA

Add 2FA to login, please. I really don’t feel safe about keeping my transcripts online without 2FA, and there’s no option to have them offline in an offline app.

  14. More than one calendar integration

Allow more than one calendar integration. I have multiple google accounts for work, personal, nonprofit etc. Only allowing one calendar integration is very limiting.

  15. Auto Upload to 3rd Party Service

It would be great to have the ability auto upload transcripts or meeting summaries to a 3rd party service like OneNote, google drive, Notion, Confluence, or other note taking apps that we likely use for our meetings or keeping track of things. I personally would like OneNote but I am looking at Notion as getting approval to integrate with OneNote for work might be hard.
