I have the same people in meetings after but I have to name them each time. Otter ai has auto-speaker detection which is great. Would love to see this added.

Whisper mode has enormous potential, but in its current state, it's not particularly useful. I want to spend my day dictating ideas, notes, tasks, and appointments, with this information automatically organizing itself into my existing workflow. Current Problem: Right now, I avoid using Whisper mode entirely because captured content gets stored indefinitely without any way to integrate it into my productivity systems. This creates a data silo that defeats the purpose of quick voice capture. What I Need: Tool Integration: Direct connections to platforms like Notion, Todoist, Google Calendar, Readwise, etc. Smart Routing: Automatic categorization and routing of dictated content (notes → Notion, tasks → task manager, appointments → calendar) Actionable Output: Voice captures should become immediately usable in my existing workflow, not isolated text files Why This Matters: Voice capture should enhance productivity, not create additional work. Without integration capabilities, Whisper mode is just another disconnected tool that requires manual transfer of information—exactly what voice input should eliminate. The goal is seamless capture-to-action: speak an idea, and have it automatically appear in the right place in my productivity ecosystem.

While in a call if by mistake you interrupt recording and then start again to record, it will be helpful to have a feature to directly be able to combine multiple recordings and compile for 1 summary.

Would be great if BlueCatch could remember and connect with my headphones when I select BlueCatch if I have already connected them- without having to initiate pairing mode every time. Also I use my airpods and other bluetooth headphones back and forth between my computer and my phone... it would be great if when I switch devices it did not disconnect and reset bluecatch to where I have to go into pairing mode again and start all over each time. I hope that made sense. Please feel free to message me if it did not.

The current user interface of notes is a little cumbersome to work with and doesn't feel very user-friendly. I need to be able to better organization my notes by having a deep folder structure (and a better way to navigate between folders). The current Windows desktop experience feels incredibly cheap against the price tag of the device, plus the ongoing access to the platform's AI summarization. It's clear that the desktop application is a clear web browser experience and thought wasn't put into a helpful tool.

I already pay subscriptions for OpenAI, Claude & Gemini. Allow me to leverage those for my transcription vs having to buy credits from you.

Create a saved library of speaker names for quick selection. Ideally, this feature would work with voice recognition so Hinote can automatically match and assign the correct name from the library based on the speaker’s voice.

Have a side-tab in the HiNotes app that correlates to-do lists in summaries (for example, ones generated in the standard meeting summary) Can be done either automatically or manually by an option in the export settings.

I would like to see iPadOS software to look and act like the Desktop/PC interface, especially with HiDock P1.

I Think it would be great if you consider a To Do or Planner Integration. The To do Points should be transferred automaticly to the To do list.

so the search function currently highlights notes that may contain what you are looking for, but it would be even more useful if you could search, possibly using an ai to identify what you are looking for in all of your notes and to pick out the paragraphs that have the term in each note. this is useful in finding specific topics within lecture notes that may be in multiple recordings or even in business meetings.

In the “Recordings” tab, all files currently have default names like “20250604-161356-Rec87.hda,” which makes it hard to identify them quickly. It would be very helpful to allow users to rename a recording manually before summarizing it, directly from the interface. This small improvement would make it easier to organize and locate specific meetings, especially for users handling multiple recordings per day.

The speaker identification feature really should be included for free. Without it, the transcripts lose much of their value because you can’t properly tell who said what. Honestly, it doesn’t look like a high-cost feature from the provider’s side, but without it the device feels incomplete and borderline unusable. Charging extra for something so essential feels wrong and makes the overall product less compelling.

It would be nice when you are connecting the P1 to a laptop and have it record your laptop audio and micro phone internally without the need to connect to a Bluetooth device. For example, P1 connect to laptop and able to record a teams meeting conversation and my laptop microphone as well.
