  1. Speaker identification

I have the same people in meetings after but I have to name them each time. Otter ai has auto-speaker detection which is great. Would love to see this added.

  2. API connection for LLMs

I already pay subscriptions for OpenAI, Claude & Gemini. Allow me to leverage those for my transcription vs having to buy credits from you.

  3. Mobile phone app

A genuine app, not a chrome attempt, you share how much better your hardware is vs Plaud hardware but your software is miles behind them

  5. Feature Suggestion: Allow Users to Select Microphone Input Source on HiDock

Hello HiNotes Team, I am currently using HiDock P1 together with AirPods Pro (3rd generation) for online meetings and recordings, and overall I have been very satisfied with the experience. Thank you for building such a well-integrated solution. I would like to share a usage scenario and kindly suggest a feature enhancement regarding microphone input selection. At the moment, the system appears to default to using HiDock P1 as the primary audio input device. However, in some online meeting environments where background noise is relatively high, AirPods Pro 3 can provide better voice capture due to their closer proximity to the speaker’s mouth. Therefore, I would like to suggest adding an option that allows users to manually select their preferred microphone input source, such as switching freely between HiDock P1 and AirPods Pro 3, rather than relying solely on the system’s default selection. This would allow users to choose the most suitable audio input based on different meeting scenarios and further improve the overall user experience. This is a suggestion based on real-world usage. If there are current technical or hardware-related constraints, I would also appreciate learning whether this feature might be considered for future development or optimization. Thank you very much for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response. Best regards,

  6. Remove Speaker from recording

Include an option to remove speakers. A use case is while completing online training someone speaks in the office in the background and gets added into the recording and transcription. Include the ability to remove unwanted speakers. Another use case is in a meeting, and a sideline convo gets picked up and taints the recording to where its mixed in with the import meeting information.

  7. Rename recordings before summarizing

In the β€œRecordings” tab, all files currently have default names like β€œ20250604-161356-Rec87.hda,” which makes it hard to identify them quickly. It would be very helpful to allow users to rename a recording manually before summarizing it, directly from the interface. This small improvement would make it easier to organize and locate specific meetings, especially for users handling multiple recordings per day.

  8. Saved Speaker Name Library with Voice Matching

Create a saved library of speaker names for quick selection. Ideally, this feature would work with voice recognition so Hinote can automatically match and assign the correct name from the library based on the speaker’s voice.

  9. ASk AI as a must have

Guys, I love this product and would like to purchase it. The only thing that concerns me is the lack of the ask-ai feature, which allows us to speed up our workflow by avoiding having to listen every time we have a question, when we could simply ask and get an answer. To be honest, that's why I continue to use Otter.ai, even though it doesn't have the ability to record audio using AirPods. Please consider adding this feature and you will gain more and more customers. Thanks

  10. Live View of Recording

I've had a couple of meetings where I get to the end, the notes transcribe, and HiDock didn't record the other person's side of the conversation. Just my side. I get that it could be permissions/settings on my side. But now I'm constantly trying to make sure its recording correctly. If there was a way to see a live recording like garage band or something where you can visible notice the sound waves going up and down as someone else spoke and you spoke, that would calm this anxiety completely. Love the HiDock

  11. Request for a feature to ask questions about meeting content.

I think it would be helpful if we could ask questions about the meeting content. For example, a question like β€œWhat was the date and time Mr. A suggested regarding β—‹β—‹?” It would be great if the system could answer based on the transcript. To prevent hallucinations, I would like the answer to include the specific part of the transcript it was based on.

  12. More than one calendar integration

Allow more than one calendar integration. I have multiple google accounts for work, personal, nonprofit etc. Only allowing one calendar integration is very limiting.

  13. Auto Upload to 3rd Party Service

It would be great to have the ability auto upload transcripts or meeting summaries to a 3rd party service like OneNote, google drive, Notion, Confluence, or other note taking apps that we likely use for our meetings or keeping track of things. I personally would like OneNote but I am looking at Notion as getting approval to integrate with OneNote for work might be hard.

  14. Unlock Community-Led Integrations with an API or SDK

If you are thinking about integrations, I think developing a basic API where we can use to download our transcripts, audio, and summary would be excellent. It would be a simple solution that satisfies most people. Since we need to connect our device to a laptop or smartphone, a basic SDK would also be a nice solution. First, it would allow you to outsource the actual integration work to outside developers. Second, for people like me who write their own custom scripts, this would be obviously exactly spot on. I would personally use my P1 many times more often if this was possible. For example, I would write a script to automatically upload all my meeting transcripts to my research folder in Dropbox or push key action items from the summary into my Notion or Obsidian database.

  15. Integration with storage services

It will be useful to have your solution integrate and sync with popular storage services, such as DropboxGoogle DriveOffice365/Onedrive/Sharepoint This would upload transcriptions, summaries and recordings to a customer-owned server for backup. and allow customers to use local tools to search notes for keywords.
