I have the same people in meetings after but I have to name them each time. Otter ai has auto-speaker detection which is great. Would love to see this added.

I already pay subscriptions for OpenAI, Claude & Gemini. Allow me to leverage those for my transcription vs having to buy credits from you.

Create a saved library of speaker names for quick selection. Ideally, this feature would work with voice recognition so Hinote can automatically match and assign the correct name from the library based on the speaker’s voice.

While in a call if by mistake you interrupt recording and then start again to record, it will be helpful to have a feature to directly be able to combine multiple recordings and compile for 1 summary.

Add 2FA to login, please. I really don’t feel safe about keeping my transcripts online without 2FA, and there’s no option to have them offline in an offline app.

It would be great to offer an optional mind map-style summary, similar to what PLAUD AI provides. This format gives a clear and visual structure to the conversation—breaking down key topics, subtopics, and connections between ideas. For users dealing with complex calls or meetings, a mind map can improve understanding, memory retention, and even presentation to colleagues or clients.

As I'm still a new user of P1, I had forgotten to stop the recording till much later. But it was through this mistake that I realized there is no ability to edit recordings. Ability trim recording becomes useful in such cases. Functionality to split recordings can also be useful when there are back-to-back meetings.

Allow more than one calendar integration. I have multiple google accounts for work, personal, nonprofit etc. Only allowing one calendar integration is very limiting.

I would like to export or download all audio files from the HiNotes website. Is there a smart or one-click way to do this?

As a user, I want to connect my wired headphones to the recorder through its USB-C port, supporting both native USB-C headphones and traditional headphones using a 3.5mm to USB-C adapter. This should function while the recorder is simultaneously connected to my PC via Bluetooth, allowing me to use my preferred wired headphones to monitor audio from the computer.

All our context doesn’t always come from meetings. Sometimes we need information from external sources, from ideas we’ve developed across multiple inputs. We also use our AIs as a second brain, ping-ponging ideas and refining concepts iteratively. To have the full picture, we need to centralize that context instead of fragmenting it across tools. That’s why I’m proposing either enabling integration between our AIs here, or establishing a direct and secure data flow between systems. This would allow us to maintain continuity, preserve institutional knowledge, and improve decision-making without duplicating effort or losing context

To simplify workflow of working on artefacts in Claude based on the transcripted content of the HiDock P1. It would be wonderful to have an MCP access to these recordings in order to avoid manual text export and reimport in claude to continue the workflow

Dear HiDock Team, I am writing this email as a frustrated HiDock P1 user to file a formal complaint regarding the recent firmware update. After updating to firmware v2.3.1 (and subsequently v1.4.3), my system now forces audio input through the P1 hardware instead of my AirPods Pro 3. This is a critical issue for me because I work in an open-office environment. Using the P1 to pick up sound means my online meetings and recordings are now filled with background noise and distractions. The audio quality is, frankly, terrible. What makes this even more frustrating is that while the new HiNotes app features a toggle to select between the P1 and AirPods, this function appears to be purely "decorative." It does not work at all. Regardless of the setting, the system defaults to the P1 microphone. This issue persists across both Windows and macOS platforms. It is clear that version v1.4.3 was released without proper Quality Control. Shipping a feature with a visible button that performs no function is unacceptable for a professional tool. Please understand that not everyone has the luxury of a private, soundproof booth for their meetings. I am demanding an immediate solution. If you cannot fix this bug within a short timeframe, please provide clear instructions on how to roll back my firmware to the previous stable version (v1.3.17).
