This will allow you to take and record a call even if you do not have your bluetooth headset/earbuds or if your bluetooth device dies. It would make the P1 mini more usefull.

When you press the power button, the wheel light should light up according to how much battery power you have - Full circle if charged, half circle if 50%, quarter circle if 25% - this way, before I start recording can know if I need to add power... and if I will make it through my meeting - also some indication of how much power do you need for an hour long meeting would be valuable to know as well...

I've recently received my HiDock P1. I've been really impressed by the P1 and HiNotes. There is a lot of potential for this platform. Below are some suggestions on including additional features and improving user experience. Ability to create custom templates from scratch. Ability to rename both custom and pre-made templates. Ability to create custom folders and filters/tags for organizing templates (e.g., meetings, quick summaries, medical, etc.). Eliminate the need to upload an audio clip in order to save a template. Have the ability to Select All and checkboxes to select multiple templates to be deleted or moved to another folder.

I’d love to see HiNote provide an MCP server that allows users to connect recording files, transcripts, and summaries stored in HiNote with other services and AI tools. This would make it easier to automate workflows and reuse HiNote data across various applications.

I find the announcement of Bluecatch connected / Bluecatch release a little annoying. Other functions aren't announced. Could we have a preference settiting for maybe a chime sound + / or LED light pulse or something so it doesn't kick in over someone talking? Also the timeout Idea would be great too. + auto connect when a meeting is discovered. That'd be great :) Still getting to know the device but loving it so far.

Hello HiDock Team,I am an active user of HiDock and HiNotes with my Google Calendar connected. Currently, the platform automatically generates titles based on the meeting transcript summary. While this AI summary is helpful, I would like to request an official toggle setting to use the actual Google Calendar event title as the default note name. Why this feature is needed:Better Organization: Many users already have a structured naming system in their calendars (e.g., "Client Q3 Review" or "Project Sync") and want their records to align precisely with their schedule.Searchability: Finding specific files later is much easier if the file name matches the exact text of the calendar invite rather than an AI-abstracted summary. Proposed Solution:Introduce a setting toggle under Account / Integration Settings: Default to Calendar Event Title for matching time slots. If checked, HiNotes should automatically name the file using the calendar title instead of generating an AI summary title. I am really enjoying using the P1 mini. When using it during lectures or face-to-face meetings, I find it a bit inconvenient that the phone always needs to remain connected and placed on the desk, as it takes up valuable desk space. If possible in the future, it would be amazing to have a "snap-on" standalone option—such as a compact battery-embedded strap or attachment—that allows the device to function independently without needing to be plugged directly into a smartphone. This is just user feedback based on my daily experience, and I hope it helps with future product development!

Currently, when a generated note contains a mistranscribed word or an incorrect summary phrase, users must manually fix it every time it appears—even if the same error keeps recurring across multiple notes. Requested feature: When a user manually edits/corrects a transcription or summary in a generated note, the corrected term (original → corrected pair) should be automatically registered to a personal dictionary. On future note generation, the system should reference this dictionary to prevent the same mistake from happening again. Motivation: Reduces repetitive manual corrections for recurring terms (e.g., proper nouns, technical jargon, names) Improves accuracy over time as the dictionary grows with usage Saves time, especially for users who frequently discuss the same specialized vocabulary Possible considerations: Allow users to view/edit/delete entries in the auto-generated dictionary Distinguish between transcription-level corrections (audio→text) and summary-level corrections (text rewording), since they may need different handling Optionally allow confirmation before auto-registering, to avoid polluting the dictionary with one-off typos

I have the same people in meetings after but I have to name them each time. Otter ai has auto-speaker detection which is great. Would love to see this added.

I already pay subscriptions for OpenAI, Claude & Gemini. Allow me to leverage those for my transcription vs having to buy credits from you.

Create a saved library of speaker names for quick selection. Ideally, this feature would work with voice recognition so Hinote can automatically match and assign the correct name from the library based on the speaker’s voice.

In the “Recordings” tab, all files currently have default names like “20250604-161356-Rec87.hda,” which makes it hard to identify them quickly. It would be very helpful to allow users to rename a recording manually before summarizing it, directly from the interface. This small improvement would make it easier to organize and locate specific meetings, especially for users handling multiple recordings per day.

It would be great to offer an optional mind map-style summary, similar to what PLAUD AI provides. This format gives a clear and visual structure to the conversation—breaking down key topics, subtopics, and connections between ideas. For users dealing with complex calls or meetings, a mind map can improve understanding, memory retention, and even presentation to colleagues or clients.
