  2. HiNotes App Beta Test for iOS and Android

Dear Meeting Heroes, Happy to invite you to join HiNotes App Beta for iOS and Android. How? First, please use your Desktop computer to update HiDock P1 to firmware v1.2.18 (or newer). Then, if you use iPhone, please install the beta app from TestFlight: https://testflight.apple.com/join/frUvTHk1 If you use Android, please install the beta app from Firebase (Google) https://appdistribution.firebase.google.com/pub/i/fd194ff365792e30 After installation, please log-in with your HiNotes account, you can start test with us. Make sure you plug-in your P1 to your iPhone with the USB-C cable. What? What to expect? We just finished the major functions: device connect, recording transfer and transcribe. You can also do device firmware OTA update, and delete your recordings. More functions are under development, we also would like to listen to your ideas. Issues? Please report your issues here. And make sure you read this known issue list: Repeated Notes: if you have a recording, transcribed from Desktop HiNotes, and from the App, you can see it as new recording, you can transcribe again.Stability: sometimes the app will freeze when transferring recordings, you will need to plug out P1 and plug in again We appreciate your test and feedbacks. Best, Team HiDock

  3. Windows Application

It would be great to prepare a native Windows application same as what you are doing with android and mac. If feels more natural that the current "web app".

  4. Web App - Smart folder organization

Would like to see a Smart Folder organization feature that lets users automatically clean up and structure their folders based on simple rules. The idea is to create custom groups (like Work, Personal, Projects, etc.) and set conditions such as file type, keywords, app source, or date created, so HiDock can auto-sort everything in the background without manual effort. This would keep desktops and directories clean, reduce clutter, and make it way easier to stay organized long-term. Also, I'd like to be able to drag and drop to choose which folders appear first... right now it's just the first folder created that shows up first and new ones get hidden on the web app.

  5. Bluecatch Headphone -Remember Device

Would be great if BlueCatch could remember and connect with my headphones when I select BlueCatch if I have already connected them- without having to initiate pairing mode every time. Also I use my airpods and other bluetooth headphones back and forth between my computer and my phone... it would be great if when I switch devices it did not disconnect and reset bluecatch to where I have to go into pairing mode again and start all over each time. I hope that made sense. Please feel free to message me if it did not.

  6. HiNotes Beta Test for Android

I believe that you are working on the Android app. Can you get the link for the beta test? P1 mini without both iPhone and Android apps will not be as successful as it could be.

  7. Restore deleted notes

As a user, I want to restore deleted notes so I can recover content removed by mistake.

  8. Turn whispers into meetings

The more I think about whispers the more I wonder if they couldn’t be considered as meeting notes with special tag and summary template. I don’t really get the need for two separate pipelines for meetings and whispers (at the end of the day, aren’t whispers meetings with myself?)

  9. Ability to manage device storage for chose to keep in local device for upload to HiNotes

The function I’d like HiNotes to have is the ability to manage my device’s storage in a flexible way. I want to be able to easily see which files or data are currently stored on my device, and which have already been uploaded to HiNotes. I’d like a clear window or interface in the app that lists files kept locally and those ready to upload. This way, I can decide which files to keep on my device, which ones I want to upload to HiNotes, or quickly remove files from my device once they’re uploaded. It would be great if there’s an automatic suggestion system too. For example, if there are large files, rarely used files, or ones that have already been backed up, the app could recommend that I upload them to the cloud or remove them. That would help me save space on my phone without having to check each file myself.

  10. A tab that automatically shows the notes that are not filed in other custome tabs

I file my notes in custom tabs but when I upload new notes there is no way of visualising what notes are files and what ones are not which I find very annoying. Even something on the note tile that shows where it is would be helpful. Thanks

  11. Localized Export and Conversion of .hda files to open format via Linux Terminal

For organizations and individuals that require zero trust data management, a terminal program that allows advanced users to export and convert .hdas directly from the device to an open standard file (such as .mp3 or OPUS) on the local system would make your devices not only viable but best-in-class products. The development investment would be minimized by excluding a UI and leveraging existing code you have running on your backend while the functionality for your customers would be maximized by allowing for zero trust data management, automation and the use of UNIX style workflows (Piping, ect). It may even work from the get go in Windows with WSL which would mean users of both Linux and Windows could use it. That covers basically your entire market- MacOS users could accomplish compatibility through virtualization. I cannot find a downside to this approach: this would not dissuade the vast majority of your customers from participating in your current revenue model. However, it could allow for entirely new customers and lead to more orders of your devices from individuals and large orders from enterprise scale organizations who are presently disallowed from using your products.

  12. Legacy Devices (iPhone 14 and older)

With the development of the iOS native app, is this the opportunity to introduce legacy support connecting the P1 to an older device and record similarly to newer devices?

  13. Make the P1 work, please

    (1) The P1 does not work as advertised. (2) The product documentation, especially troubleshooting, is not complete. The Community area is only able to capture Feature Ideas. Yes, we can use Reddit, but why not offer an 'official' space for Q&A? Please address these before considering spending time on additional features. Issues include: When BlueCatch is connected, the record button does nothing other than feel like it's depressed and shows a cyan ring of light for a moment. After disconnecting BlueCatch, the user must access the browser-based app to reconnect it to Hi-Notes. Why can't we reconnect to the last connected device? To be fair, the power toggle, whisper checkmark button, and the BNC do work HiNotes app: If the auto language detects some random language user is unable to assign the correct language HiNote mobile app: Where are the device management features?

  14. Recording import improvements

The import process is completely confusing. The "transfer" button directing transfer to a local folder makes no sense. Logically, I always think that "transfer" is going to transfer the recordings from the device into the Hidock software. Selecting individual recordings to process for import is cumbersome. Once imported, it's unclear which ones have been imported and which haven't. There should be an icon or shading to show which recordings are already in the app and can be deleted. There should also be a way to delete from the device after importing. My goal is for the device to only have new, unprocessed recordings on it to make it clear what needs to be processed.

  15. Language of voice prompts on the Hidock P1 in Spanish

Spanish is the third most spoken language in the world. The language on the HiDock P1 is only available in English and Asian languages. Please implement Spanish as an option for the device.
